I still don't much differences between a hypertext and a webtext. I just paid attention what was I suppose to have acomplished.
Using Webs.com was easy from me since I had played around with it before. I knew how the site worked and how to make a site. I spent the majority of my time in class working on the site. I organized my enthography into pages, noted on what mutimedia features would work well on each page, and link what to what.
I'm sorry to say I didn't get sound incorporated into the site due the fact Webs.com doesn't make that feature easy. I did put videos and animations along with pictures serving as links. I wanted to put up the footage I got from the con but due to technical problems on that end I wasn't able to get the footage properly edited.
It was certainly more fun to make a hypertext than write a paper but without writting a paper there would be no hypertext. Oh well, I still had fun.

My thoughts: Ethnography
I can see why this paper had a shorter time period to write since it was not that hard to write. Since the main source of information was my experience the Anime culture all I had to do was to anazlye the actions around me.
My friends and I have planned the trip to the anime con since mid last semseter. Of course I din't think it would become a research trip. I thought to keep my friends out of the loop so they would act naturally and wouldn't accidently tell anyone else.
Though I also had a lot of fun during the con, I was regreting the outside research. It seemed the research material was ethier biased towards the culture or against the culture. One of the sources saw the culture as an embrassment towards the japenese culture. Saying that american fans were way to obbessed.
My other source saw it as normal occurance. Saying it was just a past time and a love of animation.
My observations made me realize that even though it looks nutsy its just having a good time with others.
The paper wasn't very hard to write but I wish I knew what I got on it.

My thoughts: Research Paper
I'm glad we had recieved a good amount of time to write this paper. During my research of Presbyterianism I found it hard to find sources that dealt with my questions. I also never had an introduction to MLA format and wasn't quite comfortable yet with the library's system.
I had oringinally choosen Presbyterianism because I saw it as a dark area in my own background. I was confirmed as a presbyterian however I never really delve into what that ment. I just kept going hoping an answer would find me. Man, was I wrong.
I wasn't exactly sure at first how apporach this assignment since I knew it had to be fairly large and consit of fact and not observation or hypothesises. I'm very comfortable with the narrative view since story telling is rather enjoyable for me. To write the paper as if I was telling a tale of self-discovery was definetly easier but I questioned if I was getting the facts straight. This being said I was very particular on how I presented the information and how the author explained the information.

Anime Fanatics
I have a conference coming up so I get to see the culture in action.
However this ocassion will need a disguise which I will explain later in the report itself.
I have to admit it will be tough to look at these people objectivly, since I find myself in the culture.

To Whom, do I follow?
Alight basically I'm no reporter. I get really shy and end up mumbling incorrherently. So I would really prefer not doing interviews for my Ethnographic Essay. Therefore I'm pick groups I know already and don't really need to ask the group questions. Wimpy I know but really I'm no reporter.

I Search paper
I decided to an i-Search paper basically because finding who I am regilously is more interesting and easier to write than a What is Presbyterianism paper. this is the link to help me out
