I just paid attention what was I suppose to have acomplished.

Using Webs.com was easy from me since I had played around with it before. I knew how the site worked and how to make a site. I spent the majority of my time in class working on the site. I organized my enthography into pages, noted on what mutimedia features would work well on each page, and link what to what.

I'm sorry to say I didn't get sound incorporated into the site due the fact Webs.com doesn't make that feature easy. I did put videos and animations along with pictures serving as links. I wanted to put up the footage I got from the con but due to technical problems on that end I wasn't able to get the footage properly edited.

It was certainly more fun to make a hypertext than write a paper but without writting a paper there would be no hypertext. Since the main source of information was my experience the Anime culture all I had to do was to anazlye the actions around me.

My friends and I have planned the trip to the anime con since mid last semseter. Of course I din't think it would become a research trip. I thought to keep my friends out of the loop so they would act naturally and wouldn't accidently tell anyone else.

Though I also had a lot of fun during the con, I was regreting the outside research. It seemed the research material was ethier biased towards the culture or against the culture. One of the sources saw the culture as an embrassment towards the japenese culture. Saying that american fans were way to obbessed.

My other source saw it as normal occurance. Saying it was just a past time and a love of animation.

My observations made me realize that even though it looks nutsy its just having a good time with others.

The paper wasn't very hard to write but I wish I knew what I got on it.

My thoughts: Research Paper

I'm glad we had recieved a good amount of time to write this paper. During my research of Presbyterianism I found it hard to find sources that dealt with my questions. I also never had an introduction to MLA format and wasn't quite comfortable yet with the library's system.

I had oringinally choosen Presbyterianism because I saw it as a dark area in my own background. I was confirmed as a presbyterian however I never really delve into what that ment. I just kept going hoping an answer would find me. Man, was I wrong.

I wasn't exactly sure at first how apporach this assignment since I knew it had to be fairly large and consit of fact and not observation or hypothesises. I'm very comfortable with the narrative view since story telling is rather enjoyable for me. To write the paper as if I was telling a tale of self-discovery was definetly easier but I questioned if I was getting the facts straight. This being said I was very particular on how I presented the information and how the author explained the information.

Anime Interview?

I'm not sure exactly who would be a good canidate but here is what I think might work.

Owner of Gold Star
Convention Host
Fellow fanatics
An interview with someone from the Anime Club
A vendor at conventions
Someone on an Anime Blog

Questions(Need help!)
1. He follows three colleges, Eckerd College being the Presbyterian based. Presbyterian college's have vaule related courses in the Bible but not doctrine."In short, it appears to be a challenging and diverse course which provides students with thoughtful ethical and religious perspectives that they could apply to other problems later in their lives; it is not simply a current events course. " He then points out that 31 of 42 Presbyterian colleges have at least one required values related course. Since Presbyterianism differs from regions, Southern Presbyterians have an average of 2.17 courses related to values but the North has an average of 1.42. Compared to other religous based colleges Presbyterian Colleges do not focus on religion at all. It seems that Presbyterians are moral but doesn't have religion dictate their entire life.

Source One: Scottish Communtiy

RECOVERING THE LOST SCOTTISH
COMMUNITY LIBRARY:
THE EXAMPLE OF FENWICK
By John Crawford
Glasgow Caledonian University

In summary this article, concerning Presbyterianism, that Scottish were very comfortable with the Presbyterian faith. I had asked questions but I never got a reasonable explanation of what is Presbyterianism. Catholics, Jews, Baptists know who they are and what they value. Poor Presbyterian that I am, I don't know what values I should have to be a Presbyterian. I know we are a forgiving bunch with the understanding that only God knows what happens next in our lives and we can't change that. I think its called divine destiny, but who knows.
I think we also value mercenary work, which might be bad news for me since I have hard time away from home in a safe clean environment. I would die in Africa. To figure this problem out I could research the differences in views Presbyterian's have compared to other religions. What is values and foundations that make up Presbyterianism. What is the role of the church in daily life? Or just plainly what is a Presbyterian?

Pluto
Scientists now know Pluto is not a planet. I understand that but what is it then? A giant asteriod?
According to EUP's Dr. LoPresto its a comet head. Now my question is what is a comet head? Are there more comet heads? What makes it a comet head instead of a asteriod or planet? Why are people being so stuborn about it begining a planet? So I wish to explore the question "What is Pluto?"

Warner Bros.
As a begining animator I'm aware of the history of Disney. In English 101 I had written a paper on anime so I understand that as well. I however don't know Warner Bros. role in animation history. I know Porky was their first cartoon and they kept opening and closing the studio but really other than the cartoon I have seen I don't know much about the Bros. Why did they decide to take on animation? Why wasn't the studio always running? Why did they stop or did they? This is my last option for a topic so I really didn't think this through. Basically what is Warner Bros. role in Animation?

Everything So Far

I'm heading into the second semester of my first year of college, what a ride. All of my art skills that were good enough in high school are useless. At least I wasn't to far gone to learn how to draw.

My study skills however have proven to be more than just useful. Art history was the easiet class I've had so far.

English however seems to be in the middle. I know to write papers about readings and research of indivuals. In High school papers I was forribiden to use I and you. which at first was difficult in middle school but by high school I could hand in A papers as easy I make bread into toast. Here, I now have to incorporate my opinon. I guess it wasn't too much of a jump since now I just pick a side and stop reading up on old dead guys.

I have to say I'm pretty sure of myself whens comes to writting but its no longer a peice of toast.
